The farm is the starting point. Here's what twelve weeks in Canada can open up. 👇
More than a farm stay.

1. Explore Canada.
Discover lakes, forests, regional towns and city adventures.

2. Make new friends
Meet fellow international travellers and build friendships through shared experiences.

3. Learn by doing
Develop practical farm skills, learn about rural life and become more confident and independent.

4. Launch Your next chapter
Use your experience and connections as a starting point for whatever comes next.
Your home base for Canadian adventure.
You'll be based at Rice Lake, Ontario — a lake in the countryside northeast of Toronto, with small towns such as Cobourg, Port Hope and Peterborough in the wider region.
The great outdoors
0-80km
Lakes, forests, wildlife and trails to explore.

Small-town discovery
15 - 50km
Local communities and regional exploration, well off the usual tourist trail

Big-city adventures
120km
Toronto's neighbourhoods, food and attractions.

Share meals, work side by side, explore new places together — and maybe keep travelling together once you finish your volunteering.
Come for Canada. Leave with a crew.

"A Life-Changing Experience on the Farm"
"I wanted to find my direction in life and learn discipline. I matured through the trust Wesley placed in me as he made me a supervisor. It is an adventure for anyone seeking true growth."

Wes has plenty of experience welcoming volunteers — and helping past participants explore what comes after their stay, including hospitality work in Canada.
From there, some people keep travelling around Canada, or head on into the United States. Where you go is up to you.
